As a guide, allow around 10–12 standard blocks per m² depending on block size, joint width, and wall thickness. We confirm after a site measure.
Can you lay blocks in wet weather?
Light showers can be managed; heavy rain risks mortar strength and alignment, so we schedule around safe weather windows.
Do block walls need reinforcement?
Load-bearing and retaining walls typically require steel reinforcement and concrete core fill to the engineer’s design.
Do I need council consent or engineering?
Structural and retaining walls often need consent and an engineer’s design, especially at height or where soil loads are retained. We’ll advise what applies.
